For our services we process your personal data. We attach great importance to your privacy and we will therefore deal with this personal data confidentially and carefully. Personal data is processed in accordance with the legal provisions such as the data protection act and as of 25 May 2018 the Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming. In this privacy statement we would like to inform you about this.

Applicability privacy statement

This privacy statement provides information about the processing of personal data by or because of SelanCare B.V. and relates only to the use of personal data of it’s customers and visitors to the website.

This privacy statement does not apply to third party websites, such as websites or apps to which SelanCare B.V. refers to on it’s website and in it’s mailings. SelanCare B.V. advises to consult the privacy policy of these third parties on the relevant websites.

SelanCare B.V. is responsible for the purposes of the Wet Bescherming Persoonsgegevens and – with as of 25 May 2018 – the Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming. This privacy statement provides information about the collection and processing of personal data by or because of SelanCare B.V.

SelanCare B.V. is registered at the Kamer van Koophandel under number 73330973. SelanCare B.V. is located in 1412 JM, Naarden, at the Rembrandlaan 23 and accesable via the e-mail address info@selancare.com.

How do we collect personal data?

SelanCare B.V. can receive information from you in the following ways:

  • Directly from you: for example by entering into an agreement with us, if you contact us by e-mail, telephone or in writing, or by subscribing to our newsletter.
  • Through our own website: for the exercise, improvement and registration of our services, we collect various data through our website, amongst other things through the use of cookies.
  • By third parties: we can use the services of third parties. These third parties then act on behalf of SelanCare B.V. This privacy statement shall also apply to the data collected by these third parties, when they act as a processing person for SelanCare B.V. We are not responsible for the collection of data that is not carried out on behalf of SelanCare B.V. In this case we refer you to the privacy policy of these third parties.

    What personal data do we collect?

    SelanCare B.V. may process personal data about you by using the services of SelanCare B.V. and/or because you provide it to SelanCare B.V. when completing a contact form on the website. SelanCare B.V. may process the following personal data:

  • Contact and account information – such as your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, website, BIG registration number, login information.
  • Payment, delivery and billing information – if you enter into an agreement with us, we need your bank delivery and billing information for the financial handling and delivery.
  • Website information – such as IP address, traffic and location data and information about the use of our website (s).
  • Consumer/patient data – such as before and after photographs of the treatment, age of the patient, specific condition or complaint. This data is collected only by SelanCare B.V., if there is an explicit written permission is provided to SelanCare B.V. from both the treating physician and the patient.

For what purposes do we collect your personal data?

SelanCare B.V. uses acquired personal data in the first instance to implement the agreement we conclude with the customer in the context of the delivery of our medical devices, cosmetic products, marketing advisory services and for the internal administration. More specifically, we ask you to share your personal information with us for the following purposes:

  • For the purpose of entering into, maintaining and improving the contractual relationship with it’s (potential) customers or for improving the services and products.
  • For the handling and registration of any questions, remarks, complaints, complications in the use of our products by the customer and/or the consumer.
  • To mention the treatment and sale location of our products to our customers and referral of the consumer to our customer’s website via the online shoplocator.
  • Implementing and executing legal obligations.
    SelanCare B.V. can send newsletters by e-mail. If you do not wish to receive a newsletter

    you can use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the newsletter.

    Personal data are not used for purposes other than those described above.

    Who do we share your personal information with?

    SelanCare B.V. may share your personal data with SelanCare B.V. affiliated companies, it’s clients, subcontractors (such as processors) who provide services on our behalf or carry out assignments, suppliers, government agencies and other business relationships.

    SelanCare B.V. may be obliged to provide your information because of a statutory obligation on SelanCare B.V. and/or in response to requests from authorities. The e-mail address info@selancare.com allows you to object in writing to the use of certain data by SelanCare B.V., or requests for access, correction and/or deletion of your (personal) data. Upon written request, any corrections that you have communicated will be processed. SelanCare B.V. will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks. Complaints about the use of personal data can be addressed to SelanCare B.V. or to the Autoreiteit Persoonsgegevens.
